Workshop Wednesdays!

Online retail has undoubtedly taken over our world today! From the comfort of our homes, we can order food, have groceries delivered, and receive almost anything within a day. There's no turning back.....

At Tea & Roses, I've embraced this change. Most of the products I sell, including vintage items I find and pieces I paint, are available on the website. This approach is quite different from the bustling activity and social atmosphere Tea & Roses had on the High Street. I must confess, I do miss the shop window, the lively environment, and the social hub that the shop created! I also recognize the importance of human interaction, the need to see paint colours in real life rather than on a screen, to ask direct questions about your paint projects, to share ideas, and simply to be together.

Starting from March 2026, I'm excited to announce the launch of Workshop Wednesdays! I'll be in my workshop on the farm every Wednesday from 10 am to 3 pm. I'll be painting and available for paint collections and to answer any paint related questions you might have. If you spot a vintage item on the website that catches your eye, you'll have the opportunity to see it in person.

Unlike my High Street shop, the Tea & Roses Workshop on the farm is small, and unfortunately, there's no coffee shop, but I do have plans for more soon!

I'm looking forward to this new way of working. Let's not abandon brick and mortar establishments. I believe it's crucial for our society to have beautiful real places to visit and experience in person.
