The Byre

A charming barn, which sleeps 6, with traditional, yet eccentric features. The Byre has a beautiful, homely and welcoming feel.

The Byre has a interesting and unusual layout. Up the main oak staircase to the right you will find the master double bedroom, with the traditional metal framed bed, adorned with vintage patchwork and cosy bed spreads and throws. Vintage painted furniture and pictures create a floral country cottage feel. This bedroom has its own separate ensuite, with a claw foot bath, with shower head over.
Up the main staircase to the left is a twin room with two single metal framed beds, more vintage patchwork and an ensuite. This has a bath with an overhead shower.

Up the second open tread staircase is a further double bedroom, in the same country style, with decorative hand painted furniture and an ensuite with shower. Downstairs boasts a large wonderfully beamed open plan living area with soft sofas, with plenty of cushions and throws to cuddle up to in front of the wood burning stove. This country style room has a large oak dining table, perfect for family gatherings. Tucked up a couple of steps is the shaker style kitchen. There is a storage cupboard for hanging coats and a downstairs toilet.

From the kitchen and living room door you will find the enclosed terrace. This area has a rattan style table and chairs with a luxurious central gas fire for you to enjoy eating al fresco. A rattan corner sofa for lounging in the sun or reading your favourite book can be enjoyed under a parasol. While away the day in the luxury hot tub and watch the stars during the tranquil evenings. A family friendly outdoor living space.
To the front of the barn accessed from the living room there is a newly planted wildlife garden. With lavender, buddleia, fruit trees and cottage garden plants, this garden will attract butterflies and bees during the spring and summer months. There is a small terrace and bench to enjoy a coffee that catch the morning sun. Take a few minutes to take watch the activities of the farmyard as the seasons change.
